ICONIC CHARACTERS IN A WHOLE NEW DISNEY’S “THE LION KING” ROARS INTO THEATERS |
POSTERS AND TRAILER




Filmmakers, talent and special guests celebrated Disney’s “The Lion King” in
Hollywood. The movie welcomes beloved characters back to the big screen in a
whole new way. A new clip featuring “Circle of Life” also debuted during the
event livestream.






DISNEY’S “THE LION KING” CHARACTER POSTERS










Staying true to the classic story, director Jon Favreau utilizes pioneering
filmmaking techniques to bring the iconic characters to the big screen in a
whole new way. Featuring the voices of Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé
Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar,
Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon, Disney’s “The Lion King” opened
in U.S. theaters on July 19, 2019.










Just in case you didn't know:
Disney’s “The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau (“The Jungle Book”), journeys
to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father,
King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the
kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir
to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with
betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help
from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to
grow up and take back what is rightfully his.

Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4


Tickets are on sale now for Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” which opens in
U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019. Watch Woody in this new clip as he introduces
Forky to everyone in Bonnie’s room for the first time.





Fans can catch Woody and the gang a day before “Toy Story 4” officially opens
with two special opportunities taking place in select theaters across the
country. Check Fandango.com for more information and to find participating
theaters.


* Opening Night Fan Events will invite fans to be among the first to experience
the movie on Thursday, June 20. In addition to watching the film early,
attendees will receive a set of “Toy Story 4” collectible character cards and be
a special event-only concession offer.
*“Toy Story 4” Movie Marathons take moviegoers on a “Toy Story” extravaganza on
Thursday, June 20, showing all four “Toy Story” films back to back. In addition
to seeing Buzz, Woody and all their Toy Story friends on the big screen, fans
will receive an exclusive Woody pin, a set of collectible character cards and
get a special event-only concession offer.









ABOUT “TOY STORY 4”:
Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the
world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or
Bonnie. 


So, when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony
Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to
show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. 


But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody
ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost
friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). 


After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road
belie her delicate porcelain exterior.


As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy,
they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries. 


Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”), and produced by Mark Nielsen
(associate producer “Inside Out”) and Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”), Disney

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic,
“Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the
courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key
to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for
fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, “Aladdin” is
written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s “Aladdin.” The film stars
Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan
Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia and Billy
Magnussen as Prince Anders.


“Aladdin” is produced by Dan Lin, p.g.a., and Jonathan Eirich, p.g.a., with
Kevin De La Noy and Marc Platt serving as executive producers. Eight-time
Academy Award®-winning composer Alan Menken provides the score, which includes
new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and Oscar®-winning

Here's the synopsis:


The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the
universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take
one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films,
“Avengers: Endgame.”







Kevin Feige produces “Avengers: Endgame,” and Anthony and Joe Russo are the
directors. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon
Favreau and Stan Lee are the executive producers, and Christopher Markus &
Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay.

LIVE-ACTION "DUMBO" FEATURETTE AND POSTER




From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action
adventure “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are
celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. “Dumbo” opens March 29,
2019.




Walt Disney’s classic animated tale “Dumbo,” which opened Oct. 23, 1941, won an
Oscar® for best scoring of a musical picture and was nominated for best original
song for “Baby Mine.”
Here's the synopsis:
Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin
Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care
for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an
already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus
makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere
(Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest,
larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights
alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva
Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of
dark secrets.





Directed by Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” “Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory”) from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger (“Ophelia,” “Dream House”), and
produced by Justin Springer (“TRON: Legacy”), Kruger, Katterli Frauenfelder

HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY MICKEY!



Mickey Mouse, the Leader of the Gang and the mouse that started it all is
celebrating his 90th birthday today. It was on November 18, 1928, that Mickey
Mouse burst on to the cartoon scene with his official film debut in "Steamboat
Willie". What a great cartoon! It's still one of my favorites.
