In the present situation, the Indian MSMEs are faced with new challenges that
entail the 'new normal' inflation. The rate of inflation in developed economies
has been in excess of 5% for a while now, and in January 2022, the year-on-year
expansion rate for OECD nations increased to 7.2%, the most elevated since
February 1991. In India, retail inflation has remained over the upper limit of
6% in FY 2022 until this point, while the wholesale price index (WPI) rate in
February 2022 stood at 13.1%, setting some alarm bells across sectors.

Bhavin Patel, Co-founder and CEO, LenDenClub, on the recent dip in the
fintech funding market said that the industry is pausing for performance as
when there is a rally, there will be a little pause where the performances of
the funded fintechs is witnessed. "The money which has been raised by so many
investors is now being allocated to various segments and expenditures are
happening now. Over the next 6 months, we should start seeing sizable
