DARIEN-JONES PUBLISHING is a specialist publishing company based in the
Cotswolds.  Since its formation in 1998 the company has designed, produced and
published a number of highly acclaimed illustrated books and maps.

The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty celebrates the 50th anniversary
of Britain's largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). Photographed by
Nick Turner, written by Sian Ellis and designed by Nick Darien-Jones, it breaks
new boundaries in creative photographic art, writing and design. There has been
no other book on the Cotswolds quite like this one.

The Cotswold Chef - A Year in Recipes and Landscapes is not only a Cotswold
best-seller but has been ordered by readers as far afield as Tokyo and Tasmania.
The Stroudwater Canal & Thames and Severn Canal Towpath Map has been referred to
as the best ever map of a British waterway, in a review by Waterways World
magazine and over 12,000 copies have been sold. The second in the series - The
Gloucester & Sharpness Canal Navigation and Towpath Map is also a best-seller -
and now published in its second edition.

Collector's limited editions are undertaken in close partnership with authors
and artists and has resulted in some interesting publications. One would have
thought that The Man Who Made Penguins - The Life of Sir William Emrys Williams
would have been published by Penguin Books, it being a biography of its
co-founder. However, it fell to Darien-Jones Publishing to produce a unique
illustrated edition. Story-Tell Lib, an illustrated book of short stories, is as
much an art treasure as a book, with only 500 numbered copies available for
