MAY 18, 2022•KNOWLEDGE FIELDS Title Personal Identifiable Information (PII) Reduction FAQs - TurboRater Summary Briefly describe the Article. Keep the Summary specific and simple. Below are answers to common questions about the effort to reduce the PII data stored in TurboRater. The reduction in PII will start on June 1st, 2022. We understand that agents may have concerns over their data and hope the answers below will resolve many of the questions. Answer The article should cover only a single topic in depth. This field supports Rich Text, Anchors, HTML links, multimedia content, and tables. FAQs: Q: Will carrier rates still be accurate without the SSN? A: Yes, carriers use name and address for a soft credit pull and only require SSN during bind. Q: Won’t I need the DL to remarket with carriers when it is time for renewal? A: Carriers do not require DL or SSNs for initial quotes. If you are going to bind a quote in a carrier system, you will need to collect that information from your client if you do not have it stored in your AMS. Q: Will I still be able to include Drivers Licenses on a quote? A: Yes, you can still enter DLs on a quote, though that information will be removed from the system 90 days after the quote is last saved or rated. Q: Where should I store DLs? A: As part of our standard cyber security measures, DL and SSN are not available to download through our TurboRater reporting features.
