EDIT THE DELIVERY METHOD FOR AN ACTIVE TRANSFER

YOU CAN CHANGE THE DELIVERY METHOD FOR AN ACTIVE TRANSFER AS LONG AS IT HASN'T
BEEN COMPLETED. USE THIS DOCUMENT TO FIND OUT HOW.

INFORMATION

Answer

If your transfer hasn't been completed, you can change the method used to
deliver money to your recipient. For example, if your recipient can't make it to
a cash pickup location, you can change the delivery to their bank account.

If you need to update other transfer details, use How to edit your transfer to
find out more information about editing an active transfer.

 


HOW TO UPDATE THE DELIVERY METHOD ON YOUR REMITLY APP

 1. Open your Remitly app and sign in to your account

 2. Tap the active transfer you want to edit

 3. Tap Edit Transfer

 4. Tap Edit next to the Delivery method

 5. Choose the new delivery method you'd like to use

 6. Enter your recipient's delivery details and tap Continue

 7. Review your changes and tap Confirm

 8. Your transfer status will change to 'Update in progress'

 


UPDATE YOUR RECIPIENT'S DELIVERY METHOD ON REMITLY.COM



 1. Navigate to Remitly.com and sign in to your account

 2. Click Transfer History in the menu

 3. Choose the active transfer you want to edit

 4. Click Edit Transfer

 5. Click Edit next to the Delivery method

 6. Choose the new delivery method you'd like to use

 7. Enter your recipient's delivery details and click Continue

 8. Review your changes and click Confirm

 9. Your transfer status will change to 'Update in progress'
