ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR MWC BARCELONA 2023

Get ready for action with our checklist of everything you need to enter the
futuristic world of Fira Gran Via.


YOUR CHECKLIST TO ENTER MWC BARCELONA

HERE’S A HANDY CHECKLIST TO GUIDE YOUR ENTRY TO THE EVENT THIS YEAR. PLEASE
NOTE, IT’S VITAL THAT YOU COMPLETE THESE STEPS BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE EVENT. IF
YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT DOCUMENTATION, UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT ALLOW YOU TO
ENTER.


 * STEP 1: REGISTER AND PROVIDE YOUR PASSPORT / EU NATIONAL ID CARD AND A PHOTO.
   
   Step 1: Register and provide your passport / EU National ID card and a photo.


 * STEP 2: DOWNLOAD OUR MANDATORY MWC APP
   
   Step 2: Download our mandatory MWC App


 * STEP 3: ACTIVATE YOUR DIGITAL ACCESS PASS
   
   Step 3: Activate your Digital Access Pass


 * STEP 4: DOWNLOAD OUR MANDATORY MWC APP
   
   Step 4: Download our mandatory MWC App


 * STEP 5: FIND A TESTING LOCATION, IF NEEDED
   
   Step 5: Find a testing location, if needed


 * STEP 6: READ AND ACCEPT A DAILY HEALTH DECLARATION 
   
   Step 6: Read and accept a daily health declaration 


 * STEP 7: YOUR DIGITAL BADGE WILL ACTIVATE AFTER THESE STEPS
   
   Step 7: Your digital badge will activate after these steps


 * STEP 8: WEAR A FFP2 (WITHOUT VALVE) FACE MASK TO MEET MWC22 SAFETY
   REQUIREMENTS
   
   Step 8: Wear a FFP2 (without valve) face mask to meet MWC22 safety
   requirements


STEP 1 REGISTER BY UPLOADING YOUR PHOTO AND ID

It’s mandatory for all MWC23 attendees to be fully pre-registered online before
arriving at the event. Your identity will need to be verified before you arrive,
so we’ll ask you for a photo and an image of your passport or EU national ID
card.   

Without this check, entry will be denied.   

You can validate your identity with BREEZ, our facial-recognition ID validation
service. It fast-tracks the process and also gives you touchless entry, with
dedicated BREEZ lanes at the venue. Or you can choose our standard service to
have your ID and photo validated by an agent. This process will take from 24-72
hours (dependent on volumes). 

Remember, all attendees must supply a valid mobile number for essential contact
purposes. Please ensure that any contact details that you provide, including
mobile phone number and email address, belong to the person who is attending MWC
Barcelona 2023.

STEP 2 DOWNLOAD THE MWC APP

All attendees and exhibitors should download the MWC App to obtain your Digital
Access Pass. You’ll need this to access the event and any internal conference
sessions or programmes.

The MWC App also ensures you can make the most of your experience by easily
organising your schedule, enjoy networking features, join conferences and get
inspiration from some of the most influential tech leaders.

Make sure you stay logged in throughout the event – and that you always have
sufficient charge to access the app at any time. 


STEP 3 ACTIVATE YOUR DIGITAL ACCESS PASS

Your Digital Access Pass will be available in the MWC App from February 2023.
It’s all about adding convenience and security.

Your Digital Access Pass helps you make the most of the exhibition floor, get
into conferences and hear talks by some of the industry’s major thought leaders.

If you see this symbol on your Digital Access Pass (image below), you’re also
able to use the BREEZ lanes at the venue. If not, you’ll need to scan the QR
code on your Digital Access Pass to gain entry. If you wish to enrol in BREEZ,
please login to your registration account and select ‘Enrol in BREEZ’. 


COLLECT YOUR NETWORKING BADGE

We will once again provide a Networking Badge option for all attendees. This
will display your name and company and have a QR code which you can use for lead
retrieval. Print stations will be advertised here nearer to showtime.

Remember, the only way to access the venue, conference or programmes will be
with your Digital Access Pass.
