Knox Education Foundation was established in 2020 as a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization to promote high-quality education in Knox County Public Schools.
The Foundation was created through the merger of Great Schools Partnership Trust
and Project GRAD Knoxville, Inc. The Foundation works in partnership with but
financially independent of Knox County Schools.

The Foundation employs data-driven research and collaborative insight to
identify the top challenges facing our educational system and employs the
brightest, most innovative ideas to tackle them. Knox Education drives positive
change for all students, especially the underserved and underperforming ones. We
are the catalyst for making Knox County public education exceptional.


MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Knox Education Foundation is to be a catalyst for the
transformation of public education by investing in and advocating for innovative
programs, partnerships, and initiatives to achieve excellent outcomes for all
students.


VISION STATEMENT

The vision of the Knox Education Foundation is that every student graduates and
is prepared for success in college, career, and life.
