A MESSAGE FROM BEN

Having spent a decade working in the Bristol lettings industry, I reached a
point in my career as a letting agent in Bristol where I felt strongly that
there were fundamental problems with what is commonly expected and accepted by
landlords and tenants alike.



Having overseen thousands of tenancies it was clear that the most successful
ones are created with all parties feeling respected and valued, where a
landlords priority is to offer a high standard of accommodation for their
tenants and where tenants are excited and grateful that all the promises made to
them were fulfilled.

Starting tenancies off on the right footing and with a strong foundation is
absolutely vital to creating a harmonious and long term relationship between
agents, tenants and landlords.

Meet The Team

I set up Balloon Letting Co with those thoughts in mind and it’s been incredibly
satisfying to see success born out of such a simple formula. As a letting agent
in Bristol, offering a high level of personal service to all parties is at the
core of everything we do and we’re committed to being a positive force for the
city, its landlords and tenants in what is booming rental market.

RECOGNITION SINCE OUR LAUNCH IN EARLY 2021.




We’re a Bristol Life Awards finalist in the new business category and have been
recognised for pioneering a new way of working within the industry.


Since launching we’ve received over 210 five star reviews across Google and
AllAgents


Our managing director was approached by The Guardian to give his expert opinion
on the student housing market for a national paper.



We sat down with the BBC to give our thoughts on the student housing market in
Bristol.



You may also have seen an article featured in Bristol Live which goes in to some
detail on our ethical approach and our core values.



Following the media coverage by the BBC. Bristol World contacted us for our
expert opinion as a letting agent in Bristol on how the cost of living crisis
was effecting the rental market.



We were finalists for not one, but two awards at the 2022 Bristol Property
Awards in the ‘One to Watch and the Residential Agent’ categories.



As one of the first agents to sign ACORN’s register for letting agents
preventing bidding wars, the BBC once again wanted an interview to discuss the
reasons we were so quick to sign, as well as how bidding wars have effected the
market and rising rents.



Ben was invited to share his thoughts on the causes of the student housing
crisis in Bristol on BBC Radio 4’s PM show.

Having built one of the biggest followings of any letting agency in Bristol,
