UCD PHASE 3B CRITICAL EDITS UPDATE

Certain Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) Phase 3B critical edits that limit the fee
enumerations allowed in three sections of the Closing Disclosure will not turn
critical/fatal on Nov. 6, 2023. On Sept. 9, the impacted edits will be updated
from “warning-to-fatal” to “warning” severity in our UCD Collection Solution and
the UCD Fannie Mae Connect™ reporting. All other Phase 3B critical edits will
transition to critical/fatal as planned on Nov. 6.

TECHNOLOGY MANAGER TECH TIP – ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Do you know how a User ID differs from a System ID? A System ID cannot be used
to access the UI of a Fannie Mae application like User IDs can. It is used to
set up for application-to-application interface and expires every 365 days. A
User ID is set up for one specific user and expires every 90 days.


WORKOUT RECONCILIATION FORM AND JOB AID

We’ve developed a recommended Workout Reconciliation Form, which can help
servicers identify loan count and data differences in loan workouts between
Fannie Mae and servicer systems and records. The corresponding job aid outlines
recommended steps for reconciliation of a servicer’s workout pipeline.
