OUR STORY

It all started with a simple question: What if kids in the Philppines could
learn to play music if we just gave them access to instruments?

In 2017, we went to Malabon National High School to run an experiment. We gave
them 20 guitars and laptop with youtube tutorials and left them alone for two
months

In June 2024, 554 students from Region VII set a Guinness World Record for the
largest rondalla ensemble. The achievement was a result of 12 months work from
countless people and took place in Mandaue City, Cebu.

HOW WE WORK

We collaborate with the Department of Education to identify which schools should
join Let’s Play and successful schools can receive more instruments.

We source the instruments from local guitar makers and 100% of donations go
towards music instruments

ABOUT US



Let’s Play is founded by Kasper Hansen and is set up as a personal fundraiser
working in partnership with Booth and Partners.

We work closely with the Department of Education of the Philippines to identify
the schools that should participate in the programme.

Justin Sandercoe from Justin Guitar has endorsed our programme and allowed us to
use all his tutorial videos for Let’s Play.
