AVAILABLE LIGHT FILM FESTIVAL 2024


THE AVAILABLE LIGHT FILM FESTIVAL IS DELIGHTED TO PRESENT IN-PERSON SCREENINGS
AND EVENTS, A SELECTION OF ONLINE SCREENINGS AND ALFF INDUSTRY PANELS +
PRESENTATIONS.

The Available Light Film Festival features 100+ films including 50 feature
films. 60+ screenings, ALFF Live concerts, ALFF Creator talks at the Yukon Arts
Centre and the Yukon Theatre on Wood St. over 10 days. The 22nd annual festival
presented by the Yukon Film Society takes place in Whitehorse, February 8-18.

The ALFF '24 program is now available.

ALFF ‘24’s All Access Festival Pass, 10 Film, 5 Film Passes and individual
tickets are on sale.

ALFF INDUSTRY FORUM

The ALFF Industry Forum will run from February 9th to the 12th and include
panels, workshops, networking, and the ALFF Short Film Pitch Event.

ALFF Industry Passes are now on sale.

 * Regular Pass: $150

 * YFS member Pass: $125 

ALFF Industry passes are FREE for Indigenous, Black, Persons of Colour and
LGBTQ2S+ Creatives in the Yukon, NWT & BC. If you are an underrepresented
filmmaker, please email: alffi@yukonfilmsociety.com


ALFF ACCELERATOR PROGRAM

Applications are open for the ALFF '24 Accelerator Program, a specialized
mentorship program for emerging filmmakers.

Participants will have access to:

 * closed lab sessions (Feb 3 & 4)
 * mentorship and one-on-one industry meetings
 * ALFF'24 Industry sessions and networking events (Feb 9-12)
 * ALFF'24 screenings (Feb 8-18)

Submit your applications before Monday, January 15th at 12 p.m.


ALFF PITCH EVENT

The 8th Annual ALFF Pitch Event returns to ALFF '24, Saturday, February 10th. 

Pitch us your short film idea and you could win $7,500 cash and $5,000 in-kind
production services and equipment towards the production of the film.

Submit your pitch by Monday, January, 22nd at 5 p.m. to alffpitch@gmail.com.

Six teams will have 5 minutes to pitch their ideas for short, one-off
documentaries and fiction productions.


ALFF ONLINE WILL INCLUDE

A collection of 10 features and short films. All films on ALFF Online will be
available for viewers in Yukon and Northwest Territories. Most of the
programming will also be available across Canada.

To experience ALFF from home, all you need is the internet, a comfortable couch,
and lots of snacks. There will be 10 film programs available on ALFF at Home.

ALFF Online will cost $5/per individual film stream. Tickets available when ALFF
Online goes live, February 8.
