alluring, albeit sinister, charm. The Midway, a labyrinth of shadows and twisted
delights, luring brave and adventurous souls into its eerie embrace, offers
little solace to the uninitiated. The very air hums with a forbidden excitement,
as the flickering lanterns cast macabre shadows on the faces of those in
attendance. Amongst the revelers, residents don eerie costumes, weaving together
little white lies of silk and lace, a half-hearted attempt to conceal the morbid
