This is my 4th year here, and I am extremely proud of our entire community. The teachers are caring professionals who collaborate weekly to ensure learning objectives... More Homework This school has an effective approach to homework: We could work on this. There is very little evidence that homework is beneficial in elementary school. We want every scholar to read every night 20-30 minutes. Teachers Teachers at this school are effective: My teachers are hardworking and care that ALl their scholars are prepared to be independent, 21st century learners. Character This school develops strong character in its students, like integrity, compassion and respect: We use a Restorative Framework to repair harm at Muir. We also teach weekly socio-emotional skills. Leadership Leadership at this school is effective: I am a work in progress and am committed to being a leader that Learning Differences This school effectively supports students with learning differences: We have many structures in class to support all learners and create lessons plans that allow many entry points for our scholars.
