Quite a few years back, we offered our original and FAVORITE feather dusters:
FlyLady Feather Duster and FlyLady Ultimate Feather Duster (both with the wooden
handles). Well, you, our precious FlyBabies, have been asking for one or both of
these dusters to make a return, and we have been listening. We have been
searching for quite a few years now to be able to offer that style of luxurious
feather duster at a price less than $40.00, and WE FOUND IT! Please allow us to
introduce FlyLady's Premium Feather Duster. This luxurious, voluptuous, soft,
exquisite feather duster is finally back. It contains premium grade floss
feathers (gray and black). Floss feathers have the best cleaning properties.

The Premium Feather Duster is approximately 30 inches tall, measuring from the
bottom of the wooden handle to the feathers' tips. From the top of the collar
(that holds the feathers) to the feathers' tips, it is approximately 14 inches
long, and from the bottom of the wooden handle to the top of the collar that
holds the feathers, it is approximately 16 inches.

The reason that an ostrich feather duster works is because there are no oils in
the feathers. The fine feathers grab the dust and hang onto it. You just brush
the feathers back and forth; there is no right or wrong way to use it. When you
are finished, you take the duster outside and shake it briskly to get rid of the
dust ("Bless the World!").



CARING FOR YOUR PREMIUM FEATHER DUSTER

 1. When it arrives, remove the wrapper.
 2. Fluff your Premium Feather Duster with a blow dryer, or you can run it
    across the steam from a tea kettle, and then fluff it with the blow dryer.
 3. You should bathe your Premium Feather Duster from time to time (about once
    or twice a year) by adding just a drop of soap and water to them, wash
    gently with your hands, and roll in a towel to get some of the water out.
    Then blow dry.



These dusters are made from natural ostrich feathers, so you will want to bathe
it from time to time (following the process above) to keep it from molting. Dust
mites are EVERYWHERE, and they just love to eat any dust left on the feathers
(which is why "Blessing the World" after each use is so very important). Eating
the dust can cause the feathers to molt. The periodic bath gets rid of any
lingering dust on the feathers. Also, please remember that dust mites are most
active when the duster is stored in a dark area, closet, etc. Keep them out in
the light. FlyLady keeps hers in an umbrella stand by the window side panel of
her front door!

Keep four things in mind when using your duster:

 1. If the area you are dusting for the first time is kind of greasy or really
    thick with dust, wash the area first with your rag and an all-purpose
    cleaner or dusting polish. Then use your duster to keep the dust away.
 2. Do not use any dusting sprays on your feather duster. These are not
    necessary.
 3. Gently move your duster across the area you are dusting. Once it has picked
    up the dust, go outside and shake out the duster (bless the world).
 4. Have fun! You never knew dusting could be so easy.
