CLAIM FOR DIESEL EMISSIONS

OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS IT HAS BEEN WIDELY REPORTED THAT MANY CAR MANUFACTURERS
HAVE BEEN ACCUSED OF INSTALLING DEFECTED DEVICES IN THEIR VEHICLES TO CHEAT
EMISSION TESTS. 

Commonly known as the ‘ Dieselgate’ scandal, it is expected that hundreds of
thousands of customers who have purchased diesel cars and vans are in fact

CHEAT DEVICES

Cheat devices ( also referred to as Defeat devices) are installed into diesel
vehicles to fabricate emissions by using strategic test conditions to ensure
they pass regulatory inspections. The reality is, these same vehicles in normal,
everyday scenarios would produce far higher emissions and without these devices,
would simply not pass regulatory checks. 

This, therefore, means that emission laws in place to protect our public health
and environment have been cheated, causing widespread consequences.
