* Home * About us * Race information * Contact us Cyclefest 2025 is designed to be more than just a race, the objective of the event is to promote mountain biking and encourage participation as a recreational and competitive sport, while growing a sense of community engagement by involving local businesses, families, schools and enthusiasts. Participants will challenge themselves through a 6-hour team relay on scenic trails in teams of four, fostering a team spirit that is central to this exciting format. Classes for juniors and seniors ensure riders of all ages can participate, while an elite exhibition race (XCCO) will showcase top-tier athletes on a short course, giving fans a thrilling experience. With a focus on inclusivity and giving back, Cyclefest provides riders of all backgrounds and abilities an opportunity to challenge themselves while supporting local charitable initiatives. WHY SUPPORT CYCLEFEST Invest in the future: this event fosters the growth of sports and recreational activities, aligning with a future-focused, health-conscious audience for the 2025 race series. Support for Charities: Participants can support their chosen cause through MYSCHOOL, MYVILLAGE, or MYPLANET programs during the event. RACE INFORMATION * The course is made up of a 5km loop which consists of a well-marked dirt trail, with marshals on the route, to ensure the safety of riders and spectators. * The trail features diverse terrain, including uphill climbs, flowing descents, and scenic flat sections. * Entries include a number board per team member. * No helmet, no ride policy will be enforced for the entire venue. * Overall category winners. * Medals for every participant who finishes the race. * A selfie platform with sponsor logos in the background. * A dedicated supplier exhibition area will be set up at the race venue. Race categories: Mixed Teams: (2 x Male & 2 x Female or 3:1) Ladies Teams: (4 members) Men’s Teams: (4 members) Family Teams: (2 x Adults & 2 x Kids or 3:1) School Teams: (Junior and Senior) Kids’ Teams: (2,5 hours) (under 11 years old) Exhibition Race: A short-course XCCO exhibition race featuring pro and elite riders will be part of each race weekend, offering spectators a chance to witness high-performance competition.
