THE BLOX PROCESS

LEGO INSPIRED

Blox have been inspired by Legos, so that even a child could build with this
technology


MADE IN ONTARIO

Blox are made from solid concrete into a many different textures and colours


DELIVERY 

Blox are delivered to the job-site on a flat-bed truck


STACKED IN PLACE

Once the Blox arrive on site they are stacked in place by out team. It takes
about 10 seconds per Blox


WALL REINFORCEMENT

Once the Blox are stacked in place, they are reinforced with fiberglass rebar,
which is superior to steel


WALL INSULATION (R22)

Insulation is installed between the exterior and interior walls. Which is made
from 80% recycled content


FLOOR AND CEILING FORMWORK

Flat forms are setup prior to the floor and ceiling concrete pours


FLOOR AND ROOF REINFORCEMENT

Floor and roof rebar is installed, and then in-floor pex tubbing is attached to
the rebar


FLOORS AND CEILINGS POUR

Floors and ceiling concrete pours are pored with a self-consolidating concrete


CEILING INSULATION (R31)

Ceiling insulation is installed


ROOF TOPPING

Concrete roof topping is installed. A pitch roof can be installed by a third
party, but is not necessary


WATERPROOFING

All below grade walls, roof surfaces, and parapets are waterproofed

 * WHICH BUILDER CAN USE BLOX?
   
   * Any builder registered with the Ontario Home Construction Regulatory

   * Uninsulated concrete walls are really cold, but luckily the insulation
     between the interior and exterior walls keep the house really warm in the
     winter and cool in the summer
