The Queen of Modern Country is taking over Las Vegas with her brand new
residency, Velvet Rodeo, at the Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood. 



This new show offers guests the chance to experience her massive collection of
hits, including her newest album Palomino. Miranda Lambert is the most decorated
artist in country music, having earned 37 ACM Awards, 14 CMA Awards, three
GRAMMY Awards, the Nashville Symphony Harmony Award, ACM Gene Weed Milestone
Award, and ACM Song of the Decade Award. She was also named 2019’s RIAA Artist
of the Year and is the youngest artist in history to serve as the Country Music
Hall of Fame & Museum's Artist in Residence.

tickets were a bit overpriced for the mediocre show it was, but the venue staff
did a nice job. Miranda seemed a bit stiff and didn't really move around much.
the song choices were most of her hits, which was nice. It was an average show,
just not the "bang" we had hoped for for the price paid.

in fact my only exposure to her has been via YouTube. My wife originally was
just a tag along for this gig but afterwards she had really loved the show. The
sound, theatrics etc were fabulous and it's been the highlight show (of four)
for us whilst in Vegas.

and Miranda sounded great. Here’s the but…….. the lighting was horrific. The
lights were in your face from the stage and super bright worse than a car using
an off road light bar. 1/2 way thru the show I walked out and the wife said it
had gottten worse til the end of the show. I wasn’t the I ky one who walked out
either many of us couldn’t handle the bright lights from the stage into our
face.

felt like she was "just there" performing out her contract. She did not engage
the audience (as most do when performing in Vegas) and it felt robotic and cold;
no warmth. One of the least personal performances I have seen there (Garth
Brooks, Luke Bryan, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Shania Twain, and
more.... ) as well as the shortest. Normally I only write positive reviews, but
she was probably my least favorite concert,

facility My wife and I enjoyed the show. Sound quality was very good, loud
enough to enjoy and hear clearly but not damage your hearing.

Some of the other people sitting by us were extremely rude. The staff finally
moved them and it helped. We took our family of 7 so we made the best of it.
Definitely wasn’t cheap!

Great show and great venue. Wished it showed her up close on big screen but was
close enough to see her well! I love love loved her show and so happy to have
the chance!
