<p><strong>In this role you will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Use your bubbly personality and desire to go the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service including welcoming, assisting and building strong relationships with customers.</li>
<li>Actively manage Harvey Norman customer repairs & servicing.</li>
<li>Tag faulty products and liaise with our service agents & suppliers to assist in keeping the service database up-to-date.</li>
<li>Keep our customers updated of the status of their repairs and ensure this is completed within an acceptable timeframe while providing outstanding customer service.</li>
<li>Resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate service.</li>
<li>Run weekly reports for repairs/service jobs as required by the Proprietor.</li>
<li>Advise customers of arrival of stock and organise delivery as requested by the Proprietor.</li>
<li>Sell from our range of discounted, high quality products.</li>
<li>Process sales transactions accurately including cash, credit and finance.</li>
<li>Merchandise and ticket products and ensure a great shopping experience.</li>
<li>Must be able to work one weekend day and Public Holidays.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The skills and experience you'll need to bring with you include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in (or ability to work in) a customer focused, successful retail business.</li>
<li>Capacity to juggle multiple tasks with a flexible, 'can-do' attitude.</li>
<li>Customer service champion with very strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to think on your feet and manage your own work-flow with great organisational/prioritisation skills.</li>
<li>Familiarity with New Zealand Consumer Law (desirable).</li>
<li>Friendly, outgoing, approachable and work well as part of a team.</li>
<li>Ability to service customers while managing work tasks around their needs.</li>
<li>Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving.</li>
<li>Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers.</li>
<li>Previous retail cashier experience would be an advantage, but full training is also provided if needed.</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills with a genuine 'customer first' approach.</li>
<li>Strong numeracy skills.</li>
<li>Computer literate.</li>
<li>Being full of positive energy, friendly, enthusiastic, bubbly and confident.</li>
