Then, the United States followed on August 25, 2023. This film is the third remake of the French film El desconocido. In addition to Liam Neeson, Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Modine will star in this movie. Retribution (2023) will hit Indonesian cinema screens on September 13, 2023. Here is the synopsis of the movie. A thrilling story is brought by Matt Turner (Liam Neeson) when taking his two children to school, Zach (Jack Champion) and Emily (Lilly Aspell). Unexpectedly, their trip to school ends with a threat from a stranger who terrorizes through a bomb in the car seat. The three of them are forced to follow the caller’s wishes because the bomb will explode if they get out of the car. Movie Synopsis Set in Berlin, Germany, Matt Turner has to watch some of his closest people burned by the same bomb terror. The chaos in Germany makes him even a police fugitive because he is suspected of being a terror mastermind. After a long journey that is packed with excitement even if it’s only in a car, what is the fate of Matt who is struggling to save his two children? Who is the caller who keeps urging him? Not only does it present a gripping story that threatens lives. Matt Turner’s story journey in Retribution with his two children is also colored with the spice of father-son relationships. Matt’s busy life as a businessman does not avoid his love for his children and wife, Heather (Embeth Davidzt).
