JOURNEY BEHIND HIMALAYAN DRAGON FRUIT AND ORGANIC FARM

The story of Himalayan Dragon Fruit and Organic Farm began during the
unprecedented times of the COVID-19 lockdown. After completing my MBA in
Entrepreneurship at King’s College, I found myself reflecting on my dreams and
aspirations. Initially, I had applied to universities abroad for my master’s,
but when that opportunity didn’t materialize, I embraced the unexpected turn of
events as a chance to chart my own path right here in Nepal.



As the world slowed down, I became increasingly aware of the importance of
sustainability and self-sufficiency. With the extra time at home, I began
researching agriculture and exploring the potential of organic farming. It was
during this period of introspection that I discovered my passion for dragon
fruit—a vibrant, nutritious fruit that not only has incredible health benefits
but is also well-suited to our local climate.

I realized that starting an organic farm would not only fulfill my
entrepreneurial ambitions but also contribute positively to my community and the
environment. Thus, in 2021, Himalayan Dragon Fruit and Organic Farm was born.
From the very beginning, my mission has been to cultivate high-quality dragon
fruit while promoting sustainable practices that respect our planet.

Today, we’re proud to offer not just delicious dragon fruit, but also plant
saplings that encourage others to embrace gardening and sustainable living. This
journey has been one of growth—both personally and professionally—and I believe
it was destiny guiding me to create something meaningful in my homeland.
