POWER DRIVEN DIESEL: WEBSITE

This is my first project in the role of lead UX/UI designer. The goal of this
project is to redesign and rethink the style of the Power Driven Diesel brand.

Unfortunately, many websites in the automobile industry suffer from outdated
designs and unusable interfaces. Let's address and fix this issue!

The Problem:
The initial phase of the project focused on identifying the key issues and
devising potential solutions. In our case, the website suffered from an
overcrowded and outdated design, inconsistent styling, and a general lack of
organization. These issues needed to be addressed to enhance user experience and
overall site functionality.

Ideation:
The second phase involved ideation and brainstorming. To address the problem of
an overcrowded layout, the solution was to declutter the website, introduce more
whitespace, and eliminate redundant elements such as duplicate buttons and
images. Brainstorming the overall design style was a particularly enjoyable part
of the project. We decided on a modern, material design approach, which would
provide users with a straightforward and comfortable experience. Additionally,
minimizing touchpoints for customers during their exploration of the website
would help the business grow by enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.

Wireframing:
The wireframing stage involved creating both low-fidelity and high-fidelity
wireframes. Initial rough drafts of user flow and experience were developed and
tested to ensure a solid foundation before moving on to more detailed designs.

Design:
Once the wireframes were finalized, I began implementing the new material design
style across the website. This involved creating various assets such as
templates, blocks, dropdowns, and animations. This phase was the most
time-consuming but also the most exciting, as it allowed the project to take
shape and become a tangible product. Seeing the design evolve and come to life
was incredibly rewarding.

Development:
The project is currently in the development stage. With the design complete, I
am now collaborating closely with developers to bring the vision to fruition. I
am eagerly anticipating the final result, confident that this project will be a
source of pride for both myself and our team.
