ALERT

On Sept. 28, USCIS launched a new Enterprise Change of Address (E-COA)
self-service tool to allow customers to update their address with USCIS more
easily. With E-COA, most individuals with a USCIS online account can update
their mailing and physical address with USCIS for pending applications,
petitions, or requests in a single place, eliminating the need to update the
address in multiple places, fill out a paper AR-11, Alien’s Change of Address
Card, call the Contact Center, or visit a USCIS Field or Asylum Office.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Have you moved? Help us ensure that you receive any notices or documents without
delay. Most applicants with pending applications or petitions (except A and G
visa holders and visa waiver visitors) should notify us as soon as possible, no
more than 10 days after your move. In order to use this self-serve tool a valid
email address is required.

If you are entering the United States on an immigrant visa, we will mail your
Green Card to the mailing address in the U.S. you provided at the time of your
immigrant visa interview or when you were admitted entry into the United States.
If you move after you arrive in the U.S., please update your address. The Form
Number to select for an address change on a USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is “IVF”
or “OS155A”.

If you electronically filed your case and have a USCIS online account, you
should update your address in your USCIS online account. If you previously
submitted a paper case and the receipt number began with IOE, you can create an
account at myaccount.uscis.gov, link your case with an Online Access Code, and
update your address. Use this web form to request a new Online Access Code:
my.uscis.gov/account/v1/needhelp.

If you are in immigration proceedings, you must separately notify the
Immigration Court of any address changes. Filing a change of address request
with USCIS does not update your address with the Immigration Court.

For detailed instructions on how to change your address, please visit
www.uscis.gov/addresschange. This web page has specific directions for victims
of crime, Form I-751 Abuse Waivers, U.S. citizens, civil surgeons, and legal
representatives.

Note: If you do not have a receipt number, you may respond NO in order to submit
the AR-11 for an address change only. This action will not update the address
online for a pending case.
