Southern Joint Replacement Institute is devoted to the treatment of patients
needing primary and revision total joint replacement of the hip, knee and
shoulder. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art care in a professional and

in the field of total joint arthroplasty. All six physicians are
board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists in the field of joint
replacement surgery and orthopedic surgery.
The group prides themselves on offering personalized, patient-centered care and

and alleviating patient anxiety from joint replacement surgery through

Lon Marcum and Ray Morrison are avid basketball players who regularly play and
keep pace with younger men by traveling to compete in basketball tournaments
with the Senior Olympics. With a passion to remain active and live each day to
its fullest, the 70 year old fierce competitors could not see themselves as old
men sitting idly while life passed them by.
