HI, I’M CARLOS SALLAS, A GHOST IN TRAINING, BUT IN THE MEANTIME I CAN DRAW FOR
YOU…

I’m a mexican director, illustrator and designer interested in magical and
quirky stuff. I’ve been drawing since I was born but I started getting paid in
2010, collaborating with studios, ad agencies and all sorts of clients.

But in 2019, something clicked and I decided It was time to tell my own stories
while I help others tell theirs. Since then I’ve been writing and creating
projects like “Song of the Lake” and “San Misterio” with my partner Ari
Navarrete.


WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?

DIRECTION / ART DIRECTION

With the creation of my first original short film "Song of the Lake" / La
Canción del Lago, (Codirected by Ari Navarrete and Sam Mendez) I fell in love
with directing. The crafting of stories through an audiovisual medium has become
my obsession and I'm always creating new projects and looking for others to
join.



ILLUSTRATION / DESIGN

Creating illustrations for brands, businesses, social media and editorial
projects has been my bread and butter since graduating from University. I love
collaborating with clients to come up with interesting concepts that can help
grow their companies and bring attention to their work.

VISUAL DEVELOPMENT / CHARACTER DESIGN

Inventing with new worlds and characters has been my passion since I was a kid.
I love developing the look for exciting stories and bringing ideas to the table
to help each project come to life.



BRAND COLLABORATIONS

I've been collaborating with brands that I personally love, like Moleskine,
Wacom, Ben & Frank, BenQ, among others and I love to come up with cool ideas to
highlight the products that I love. If you have a brand that you think could be
