SEPTEMBER 24
VOTE NO

ON 22% PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
As a concerned member of the City of Tuscaloosa, it is our responsibility to get
to the polls on September 24th and to send a clear message to our city leaders
that we want NO MORE TAXES!

As a city, we should wholeheartedly support the success of our schools and the
students who attend them. However, increasing property taxes by 22% to throw
more money at the issue is not the answer.

Inflation is higher than we have seen in decades and is affecting cost of living
for families across the board. We see this in increased interest rates,
ridiculously high grocery and food costs, an increase in fuel and transportation
costs, more dollars needed for utilities and healthcare, and just an overall
increase in everyday goods and services that we need to live.

How can our leaders justify yet another increase in property taxes of 22%? The
rising costs of goods and services are putting extreme pressure on household
budgets.

Now is the time for us to stand together and get to the polls on September 24th
and
VOTE NO TO A 22% PROPERTY TAX INCREASE!

Click on the link below to contact Tuscaloosa City School Superintendent Mike
Daria and tell him that increasing property taxes to give our government more
money is not the answer.
