Live TV

AVIION provides delivery and playback of linear tv channels in the apps. 

Following features for Live TV are also available in AVIION:

EPG details: AVIION apps have a fast responding EPG grid with two display
options: aligned by the time or by the event. 

TimeShift TV, nPVR: Watch events from the past. Schedule past events recording.
Schedule future events recording. Record one episode or the entire show - your
choice. AVIION does it in two clicks either way. 

 

VOD in Video stores

Organize your content in as many catalogs as you want. Have the same content in
more than one catalog. Choose the organizing filter: by the editor, by genre, by
name, by the publisher, by type - simply by any provided metadata. 

 

Linearization

Want to organize your own tv channel out of VOD assets? Choose your VODs and
organize them into channels. Have as many channels as you want. Again, it's on
you. AVIION makes it possible. 

 

Delinearization

nPVR is a short-period solution. Have the content from linear TV channels for a
longer period of time. Make VOD content from them. Delinearize them. AVIION

HbbTV

AVIION is equipped with a sophisticated recommendation generation system that
employs various methods of data analysis to calculate optimal individual
recommendations for each customer within the OTT infrastructure according to his
or her's own viewing preferences. These recommendations involve both VOD
(Video-on-Demand) assets and live channels. In addition, the recommendation
engine detects similarities between VOD assets.

Customer profiling: takes into account favorite live channels, recording, views,
daily activity, favorite VODs, tags,...

Accuracy: relevance and accuracy of the recommendations can be adjusted -
depends on a number of parameters chosen to be met.
