My initial contact was with Nick, from property acquisition. At first I wouldn't consider selling because my tenants were advanced in age and poor health. When they decided to move out, Nick by chance called me just as I made the decision to sell. We agreed on a price and everything went smoothly from there. Nick made contact with us initially and even though I was unsure about selling at the time he patiently answered my questions and followed up with me. But, he wasn't pushy. He was honest from the beginning and did his best to get us the top price. Once the contract was signed Stefanie took over. She was great about checking in on me, returning phone calls and getting me answers. Stefanie was a great go-between with me and the closing company. Their attentiveness and professionalism took the stress out of what I was anticipating to be a very stressful process. Let's face it. Nobody looks forward to moving. No matter if it is one or one thousand miles, it is a truly daunting undertaking. Getting the house ready to be sold, finding a broker, a moving company, etc., selling your home and moving to another is a stressful and expensive task. However, it doesn't have to be. At least, the selling of your home doesn't have to be. What if you could sell your home for a fair price, take what you want with you and just leave what you don't? If you could sell it without going through the ordeal of repairing and upgrading your home, finding a broker to market it for you, and waiting for it to sell, would you take notice? Well, it is possible. The people at sellthatfloridahouse.com made selling mine a simple process. They purchased my home AS-IS, and for the price I felt was fair. In fact it was 5% higher than their initial estimate. No negotiating or nit-picking. The ONLY thing I paid for was the property taxes, pro-rated to the date of closing. And, of course, the movers, which I arranged for myself. We closed on the date we had chosen, and the next day the proceeds were wired to my bank account. It was more of a pain terminating the utilities, insurance, etc. My wife and I have nothing but praise for Carlos and Stefanie at sellthatfloridahouse.com, and the folks at Manzo & Associates, in particular Nancy in the Closings Dept. They kept us in the loop the whole way and were always available to respond to any concerns we might have had. Sure, we might have gotten more if we had gone the traditional route, but we avoided the stress, expense, and time the "traditional" way comes with, and got what we felt was a fair price.
