toddlers, and teenagers alike) - we graciously ask that you maintain our strict
NO CHILDREN policy. We have extended invites to a limited amount of 18+
attendees to accommodate our adult celebration, and we appreciate your

OUR STORY

Our love story has been in the making for over a decade, and is still being
written...
Adam and I met in High School. Specifically, we met in the backyard of a
friend's house during a Friday night high school party (thanks for throwing that
party while your parents were out of town, Greg). The date was February 11th,
2011. Adam was a 17-year-old Senior, and I was a 15-year-old Sophomore. To say
it was "love at first sight" is an enormous exaggeration considering the fact
that Adam was very much uninterested in me at the beginning (side note: takeaway
lessons from this story... 1. persistence is key, 2. slow and steady wins the
race). Amongst the chaos and music that was filling the air at this house party,
I was able to overhear Adam's deep and contagious belly-laugh from a distance
away. Once I got a glimpse of Adam's smile combined with that infectious laugh,
I was determined to win him over. After much convincing, I was able to exchange
cell phone numbers with "the hot guy" at the party. Lo and behold, after one
week of brief text messages being shared, Adam and I planned a night out
together the following Friday night.

Our first night on the town together didn't go very smooth. It was rainy, the
party we had planned to go to was over before it started, and the friend's we
were with even had some car trouble. Our 1st date led us to grabbing some candy
at our local 7-Eleven, and sitting in Adam's car talking about music, sports,
and telling jokes...just getting to know each other. I even was able to make the
first move and steal a kiss by the end of the night.

Fast forward to the end of summer 2011, and Adam was leaving to Illinois for
college. Somehow, Adam and I managed to stay together while he spent time in
Illinois; and again 2 years later when I then decided to move to Arizona when it
was my turn to experience college. Through our experience of committing to our
high school relationship, to our then long-distance relationship, to graduating
college, finding ourselves in various adult careers, etc... We have both stayed
at each other's side to witness our many phases of life, and we have truly been
able to grow up together in such a beautiful way.

Adam proposed on the evening of our 13-year anniversary inside of our home after
a seemingly normal day, surrounded by our "kids" (our dogs and cats). This was a
much-awaited milestone for our entire collection of friends and family, and now
that Adam and I have been able to sustain our home, raise our animals, and have
created a solid foundation to build upon, we plan to continue to nourish this
love of ours and catapult into this next chapter of our lives.

We are excited to share our big day with those of you who are able to join in
the festivities, and we look forward to celebrating with you all.
