I’d never heard of them until I hit a deer, and State Farm required I use this shop for repairs. I will hopefully not need their services again, but if I do, I’ll use them happily! Samantha Hurst March 25, 2021 My vehicle was in due to a deer strike. I hit the deer 3 days prior to leaving on vacation. I was able to get the car in to the shop before I left on vacation and it was ready by the time I returned. Caleb kept me posted by text, all along the way about the progress of the car. The company is very professional and the employees are friendly. The building was very clean and professional in appearance. They did a great job and the car turned out looking brand new. Steve Stewart King Stewie August 5, 2019 Initially impressed that the shop’s lobby displayed their Achievement Recognition for Quality work. The office’s paperwork was neatly organized. The office manager was efficient, extremely helpful and friendly. They completed the extensive work in 3 days. The quality of their work restored our car so it looks brand new. Insured work so I really don’t know about price comparison. Lark Mull February 14, 2020 * I hit a deer. The deer got my left fender, my door mirror and a small part of my left side of the bumper. After getting my car back, it looked great. They had to replace the fender and mirror and repaired my bumper. Paint was great. They even detailed my car and it looked great also. . The pricing was very fair and they keep you informed. I will always use this shop! Michael May January 28, 2021 * They fixed my car and done an excellent job. My Kia looks like new again. darrin steiner September 5, 2020 I went in very nervous and anxious because i tore my bumper off (I parked over a spike and when I backed up, my bumper came off with pieces everywhere). Went to get an estimate so I could hit my hubby with the bad news. Was expecting to have to order a part, bring my car back and leave overnight, and pay hundreds and pay for a whole new bumper and metal plate underneath that tore off (looked pretty bad). Doug (Owner) asked me if I had a few minutes, and he moved a car to get my car on the lift. Less than 10 minutes later, my car was good as new, and I couldn't even tell that my bumper had ever been off. In fact, I haven't seen my bumper look this good in years. I asked Doug what I owed him, and he just told me to have a nice day (just took some rivets). I almost cried tears of joy! It's my (favorite) car and is 19 years old. It's old, but it's my baby. I was elated that I didn't have to pay hundreds! Best part was that my husband never had to know that his silly wife didn't watch where she parked more carefully! This is the 3rd time I've been to Martin's and I love going there. The first time, someone hit my car in a parking lot and took my mirror off. Martin's handled all of the insurance and I didn't have to pay a dime (the other person's insurance paid). The second time, my sunroof was leaking. I was expecting to have to have an entire new sunroof installed, and it turns out that my "plugs" were dirty/clogged, and the water had built up. Just a good cleaning and my sunroof was good as new. They also vacuumed my car out, which shocked me. I thought perhaps they mistook my car for someone else's car, so I went inside to pay extra. They told me that that was a courtesy they do for their customers while the car is back in the shop! As a woman, I never feel taken advantage off. You can tell that this is a good and honest company that strives for customer service. They always do stellar work. They always aim/attain excellence! They talk to you like a human being, and don't treat you like an ATM. The place is always immaculate and there is just a good and friendly "energy" there. I'm a perfectionist myself, so for me to say that I recommend them is a big deal. And I definitely recommend them hands down over anyone. Don't bother going uptown. They are a hidden jewel in Harrison County. Stay Local! As a side note, their receptionist (Maxine) is a real pleasure to talk to. She has always made me feel welcome and I always feel like I'm sitting at the kitchen table talking to my Grandma. It's a very nice family run business. Will always go to Martin's! I’ve been in the business and have dealt with a lot of good body shops and this one honestly has to be number 1! And I don’t say that lightly! The customer service was absolutely amazing as well. I literally got a ton of updates and that was so helpful! You guys are awesome! I really appreciate the work. I would recommend this place to everyone I know! You guys truly did a fantastic job! Weston Pavey January 26, 2021 * we've taken our vehicle to Martin's on 3 separate occasions, 2 for windshield replacement( we specifically chose them over other shops insurance wanted us to use) and their service was too notch. they were quick to get the new windshield in and easy to work with. The other occasion was for an estimate after a wreck and Doug was very involved and made sure I received the best estimate possible. Marty Byerley August 7, 2020 * This business is the best thing since sliced bread! They are so professional, courteous, accommodating, and helpful. My child safety lock was stuck on my vehicle and I tried to fix it myself rendering the door in operable. Recognizing the safety concern of not being able to open the door, they immediately took the vehicle back and had it fixed within 30 minutes! I had a call into the dealer, and by the time the dealer returned my call, Martins had my vehicle fixed! I'll never take my car anywhere else! Lisa Steele August 26, 2020 Absolutely outstanding job. I originally took my 2018 Dodge Challenger in for repairs and then decided to make some custom changes and Matthew went out of his way to make sure the change of hood and paint color was exactly what I wanted. I also really like the daily text messages and pictutes I received of the progress being done on my car. I feel that was a great idea on their part. I cant say enough of what a great job and customer service I received. I cant imagine using any other body shop! Jason Evans June 14, 2019 * A satisfied customer. The business operated there for five years before building a new facility at 150 Hwy 64 NE. On January 2, 2004, Martin’s and its 11 employees moved to 8170 Schmidt Lane (off of Hwy 64 NE). The new facility is about 20,000 square feet, housing 30 bays for auto body repair.
