Had a fantastic five day photography course in North Wales. Both the course
content and hotel was first class. The overall experience was great. Would
definitely recommend to photographers of all levels wanting to learn new skills
in spectacular settings.

trying to capture some images, going with The Photographic Adventure Company was
the best decision! As everything from the communication before, during and after
were great from Greg and Dan. The British GT weekend working with Dan was just
amazing his knowledge and encouragement was just what i needed, as its easy to
try and capture the same type of images as everyone else but Dan was a great
help on suggesting classic motorsport shots but also making sure you as a
photographer put your own style and trust your eye to capture what you see. Ill
be definitely looking to do more workshop in the future!

I attended the British GT workshop at Brands Hatch and had a brilliant time. The
Photographic Adventure Company (TPAC) managed the event brilliantly and saw to
it that all the guests could maximise their experience. The photographic
instruction was excellent and I was able to learn loads with two days access to
a professional motorsport photographer. Its difficult to quantify these things
sometimes, but the workshop was definitely worth the price. I had a great time.

My wife and I took part in a residential photography workshop on Anglesey in
April 2024. It was well a organised weekend with a good itinerary that helped us
to make the most of our time on the island. The value of such workshops is in
making sure that you are in the right place at the right time to take advantage
of the conditions. Greg handled the logistics of the workshop while Gareth
provided technical and creative support on the photography side. It is always
hard to get the balance right when providing support to a group of photographers
with mixed levels of experience. But Gareth was always on hand when needed for
those with less experience and happy to let those with more experience get on
with it. It was an enjoyable and successful weekend. The follow up session
online that enabled us to share some of our images was particularly appreciated.

Having never booked onto a residential photography workshop of any kind before.
I didnt know quite what to expect, but all the communications from The
Photographic Adventure Company (TPAC) after making the booking for the Anglesey
weekend were timely, clear and helpful, which made me feel reassured that Id
booked with someone who cared about my experience. Upon arrival, we were met by
our host Greg, and our instructing photographer Gareth Mon and had a quick
briefing about the weekend and the initial plan based on the weather and tide
times. Our rooms at the boutique guest house (Driftwood) were clean, comfortable
and modern and the arrival gift of a small goody bag from TPAC was a lovely
surprise. Greg was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we wanted
at all times and that we never felt were being rushed to leave a location for
the next one or to get food. With the logistics taken care of by Greg, Gareth
was free to concentrate on delivering good photography tuition to the rest of
the group. He started at each location with a briefing of the types of shots
which worked well there and then we dispersed to put that into practice with
Gareth coming back to each of us regularly to see how we were getting on and to
adjust our approach as needed. It was a good balance of time on our own and help
when needed. The weather and tide times played an important part of the
itinerary and those were adjusted as we went along to make sure we were getting
the best of both all the time. Theres no substitute for local knowledge and what
Gareth didnt know wasnt worth knowing. The transport in a minibus was
comfortable and clean and there was plenty of room in the boot for everyone to
load camera bags, tripods, walking boots, wellies and jackets. It became
apparent that it was just easier and more comfortable to bring all your gear
everywhere and so it was great to have the space to do that. There was even
enough room for extra gear (tripods, filters etc) which was available to try
out, should you want/need to. Over the weekend, there was a good mix of
classic/honey-pot locations and lesser known spots where you could stretch your
knowledge/skills a little more and get out of your comfort zone a bit. Id go
back to all the locations we went to without hesitation. We never went hungry! A
plentiful breakfast was supplemented with a good lunch when needed and for all
the other times there were plentiful options available in the minibus. The
photography came first, so evening meals were at around 5pm to make sure we had
plenty of time to reach our sunset locations. Whether its purely a photographic
workshop or a photographers holiday with tuition, whichever way you see it, I
felt I had spent my money well and got a great experience from it along with
like minded people. I would have absolutely no hesitation in booking a
photography workshop/holiday with The Photographic Adventure Company again.

Thanks so much to Greg for capturing our Snowdonia (Eryri) adventure on behalf
of Rethink Mental Illness. Greg is professional, approachable, enthusiastic and
a pleasure to work with. From the initial planning discussion Greg understood
what was needed from a photography side and was very versatile in making it
happen. He quickly built a great relationship with the event participants who
were from all walks of life, to capture epic and emotive images of this multi
activity adventure. Thanks again Greg and we look forward to working with you

A friend gifted us a family photoshoot with Greg. He was super relaxed, flexible
and accommodating, fitting in around our choice of location and baby nap times!
He got some lovely natural shots of our small family - 2 adults, a baby and a
dog. The experience and photos were great. Would recommend.

photographs were just beautiful and of an outstanding quality - ones I will
