We where a big delegation aimed for the IMTS event in Chicago.
the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk was a nice place to stay in for the
event.
could have been even better if the prices where a bit more moderated...

GREAT WELCOMING HOTEL
This hotel was very nice and beautifully set on the river. It was close
walking distance to many things. The staff were very friendly.
I loved the swimming pool. The exercise area was very nice.

GREAT VENUE FOR BUSINESS OR PLEASURE
I enjoyed my staying, bedroom sand lobby were great and amazing view of the
river.
The room cleaning process should be improved though. I found spots that
were not properly cleaned and clothes from a previous guest.

NOT GOOD
Poor service and no recognition of Bonvoy status. Hotel in a good location
but rooms are tired and run down. Staff needs a major upgrade. Manager on
duty was helpful but the damage had been done at that point.

PREJUDICED STAFF, HOUSEKEEPING ISSUES AND BAD COCKTAILS
We were dissatisfied with our service at the Sheraton during our 3 night
stay to attend a wedding held at the premise. The housekeeping staff missed
cleaning the room on one of the days we stayed there and even when they
cleaned it they didn’t make the bed properly and didn’t put the ironing
board and iron that we had used back in the closet. We had breakfast
coupons in an envelope and the waiter took the coupons out of the envelope
without our permission while we were getting breakfast. At the cocktail
event the bartender didn’t have basic ingredients such as simple
syrup/limes to make cocktails. The ice kept in busking tubs was sloshing in
water and the bartender used her hand to scoop ice to make cocktails, which
felt very unsanitary. Overall I think we were being overcharged for poor
service and prejudiced, untrained staff.

GRAND EXPERIENCE!
Our flight to Chicago was significantly delayed and we feared we’d be late
for an evening event. Thanks to the early, on-line check in and assistance
from the Concierge Ambassador, we made it on time. The staff was truly
committed to providing personalized service. We did not have time for
dinner prior to our event so we ordered in-room dining late that evening.
Our meals were delivered within minutes and they were delicious!
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the river views will take your breath
away. We had breakfast at the Riverside cafe (excellent!) and strolled the
river walk in the mornings before exploring the city. When we returned to
our room each evening, our linens were fresh, beds neatly made, room was
spotless clean and amenities restocked. We ordered a bottle of wine and
took it to a rooftop terrace adjacent to the fitness center. It was an
escape from the hustle-bustle of the city where we enjoyed a private view
of Chicago lit up at night.
Suzanne, the Concierge Ambassador would greet us at some point each day as
if we were old friends and give recommendations for new things to discover,
easy walking directions, and even a complementary coffee voucher at the
Reserve.
Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming and contributed greatly to
our Sheraton Grand experience.

CLEAN, CENTRALLY LOCATED, AND NICE VIEWS OF THE RIVER
This is a good business hotel in a great location. The front desk staff is
efficient and welcoming. The rooms are a good size, especially for a city,
and very clean and well maintained. There's a Whole Foods and Walgreens
right around the corner if needed.

Disappointed by the internet not working well, the coffee machine not
working, dirty blankets being brought to us, and no cleaning on our 3rd day
despite three calls for it.
