HISTORIA


WHAT MAKES OUR FRAMES ALMOST UNBREAKABLE?



Crafted from upcycled polypropylene fishing nets, our sunglasses are incredibly
resilient. Polypropylene is a material that combines excellent flexibility with
high tensile strength.




We are revolutionizing eyewear not only through sustainability but also with
plastic science. We created our new NetFlex™ material by re-engineering ghost
nets in our lab. This allows us to create sunglasses that can bend and flex
extremely without breaking.

We turn ghost fishing nets into our NetFlex ™ material, and send it to a top
quality third party manufacturer who will produce the sunglasses.

SHIPPING

Once the campaign is successfully compleed, we will send out a survey via
BackerKit to choose your designs and color. Shipping will be charged after the
campaign finishes on a platform called BackerKit. Approx $7 per order.
*VAT/Customs must be paid by you once the parcel arrives at your destination
country. You'll be notified via SMS and Email. This doesn't apply to the USA.

RIESGOS Y DESAFÍOS

This is our 6th Kickstarter campaign and our 3rd sunglasses campaign. We have
worked extremely hard to make this product ready for Kickstarter and full-scale
manufacturing. We’re confident in our ability to produce our sunglasses at
quality in mass and fulfill all our perks on time. However, things don’t always
go as planned. Here are a few of risks that may come up, and our plan to address
them: MANUFACTURING: We have already produced 1,500 pairs of Mangrove Sunglasses
from our last Kickstarter campaign and we have started pre-producing the
OceanGuard sunglasses in our Plastic Innovation Center in Bali. Despite this,
manufacturing delays can still happen. Whether it’s a delay from mold producers,
problems with our machines, or a quality assurance issue, we’ll let you know
immediately from Kickstart updates. Our #1 priority is product quality followed
by timely delivery. FULFILLMENT: We ship our sunglasses from Bali to an
experience fulfillment center in Shenzhen, China whom we have used to deliver
our previous Kickstarter campaigns. Sometimes, stuff happens that can’t be
planned for: a package gets held up at customs, a shipment gets lost, or a
global pandemic shuts down shipping ports around the world. Those things can
cause delays. We’ll keep open and honest communication with you through our
process and send you a tracking code so you know where your product is and when
it’s going to get to you.
