HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY?

Most manufacturers provide a basic limited warranty (bumper-to-bumper warranty)
and a powertrain warranty. A basic limited warranty typically covers most parts
of your car for 3 years and 36,000 miles, whichever happens first.† A powertrain
warranty typically lasts longer than your basic limited warranty, but covers
fewer parts of your car (engine, transmission, and drive axles). Allstate
Extended Vehicle Care will pick up where your basic limited and powertrain
warranties end, giving you up to 7 years and 100,000 miles of protection.

HOW IT WORKS

Experience a mechanical breakdown on the road? Call us for a tow, it's

Have your vehicle taken to your choice of mechanic for service.
 
The mechanic will call us with your needed repairs and we'll pay the bill. You
just pay a $50 deductible.
 
If repairs take a few days, no worries! We'll cover your rental car or
ride-share costs to keep you on the road.2

HOW DO I FILE A CLAIM?

Contact our specialists at 1-888-251-6441 to initiate a claim. Give the repair
provider the first page of your contract and instruct them to contact us to
discuss what is needed for the vehicle and to secure payment authorization
before proceeding with their work.

DO YOU PAY FOR THE REPAIR DIRECTLY, OR DO I HAVE TO PAY AND THEN GET REIMBURSED?

We can pay your repair provider directly for the service (less any applicable
deductible) as long as they have contacted us for payment authorization before
initiating work.

WHERE CAN MY VEHICLE BE REPAIRED?

You can choose which repair shop is convenient for you, including a dealer, as
long as they are an approved, licensed repair facility for the service in
question. This ensures that the repair facility provides a minimum of a twelve
(12) months or twelve thousand (12,000) mile warranty on parts and labor from
the date of service on all repairs completed. If you’re not sure where to take
it, our team of experts can direct you to a qualified repair provider near you.

CAN I CANCEL AT ANY TIME?

Yes, and you will be refunded the pro-rated remaining amount.
