YOU’RE ALLOWED TO WANT MORE.

You’re allowed to want more than a healthy baby. (Of course you want a healthy
baby — what parent doesn’t?)

You’re allowed to want a pregnancy, birth or post-partum experience that is more
intimate, more celebratory, more meaningful than what mainstream culture tells
you is available.

You’re allowed to want more of the kind of connection that made you want to have
this child in the first place.

You’re allowed to want more caring from your careproviders and help that is
actually helpful. 

You’re allowed to want to do it your own way and feel more confident, even when
everyone else – from instagram influencers to the in-laws – has another opinion
or you’re still figuring it out. 

Because all the rules and advice you’re hearing don’t add up, but they may still
make you doubt yourself or question your beliefs.


THERE IS ANOTHER WAY. LET’S MAP IT TOGETHER.

 * You don’t have to take care of everyone else’s needs first or wait until it’s
   more convenient for them.
 * You don’t have to be perfect or apologize for being human.
 * You don’t have to put off what your body is telling you or ignore that gut
   feeling.
 * You don’t have to blame yourself for things that are not your fault or guilt
   yourself for needing help.
 * You were not meant to do this alone. Everyone deserves support.
