IEEE ESTONIA SECTION BOARD 2024 ELECTION RESULTS ANNOUNCED: LEADERSHIP ROLES
CONFIRMED!

In the recent election with a 23% voter turnout (57 of 242 eligible voters):

 * Chair: Andrii Chub received 50 votes (100%), with 7 abstentions.
 * Vice-Chair: Yannick Le Moullec received 50 votes (100%), with 7 abstentions.
 * Secretary: Toomas Vaimann received 52 votes (100%), with 5 abstentions.
 * Treasurer: Urmet Janes received 51 votes (100%), with 6 abstentions.

All votes were cast online, with no manual voting recorded. The new leadership
team is now confirmed! We would like to wish the new board members great success
in their upcoming terms starting from January 1st, 2025!

IEEE ESTONIA SECTION YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AG SECRETARY ELECTION RESULTS

Recently, we had an election for the position of Secretary for the IEEE Estonia
Section Young Professionals Affinity Group. The results are now in and are as
follows:

IEEE ESTONIA SECTION SECRETARY ELECTION RESULTS

The recent election for the position of IEEE Estonia Section secretary has
concluded with the following results:

IEEE ESTONIA SECTION BOARD ELECTIONS 2022 RESULTS

The voting for the 2022 IEEE Estonia Section Board election has now concluded.
The results are as follows:

Chair Dmitri Vinnikov 52 votes 100% I abstain 0

Vice-Chair Vladimir Kuts 47 votes 100% I abstain 5

Secretary Roya Ahmadi 48 votes 100% I abstain 4

Treasurer Urmet Jänes 51 votes 100% I abstain 1

Voter turnout was 26% (52 of 194).

Congratulations to the re-elected Board! On behalf of the Section, we would like
to thank you for leading the Section so far and wish you best of luck in your
next two-year term!

PROF. DMITRI VINNIKOV ELEVATED TO IEEE FELLOW

We are proud to announce that Dmitri Vinnikov, who is currently leading the IEEE
Estonia Section forward as Section Chair, has been elevated to the grade of IEEE
Fellow (class of 2023) in recognition of his outstanding professional
contributions to the design of impedance-source converters.

Dmitri Vinnikov is the first scientist in TalTech (Tallinn University of
Technology), as well as in the whole of Estonia, who reached this important
recognition. His Fellow nomination was presented by the IEEE Industrial
Electronics Society recognizing many years of volunteering and leadership.

Congratulations, Dmitri!
