EMERALD CITY ROLLER DERBY

Emerald City Roller Derby is a flat track roller derby recreational league of
amateur skaters. We are open gender and open to all skill levels. No previous
skate experience required.

WHEN & WHERE



When: Practices are Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm

Where: The Bob Keefer Center at 250 S 32nd St, Springfield OR 97478

More: Scrimmage nights twice a month for non-beginners. Check the calendar for
most current schedule.


COST & REQUIREMENTS



Cost: $40 per month due by the first practice of each month. Can be paid here or
in person at practice.

Requirements: 18+ only, proof of COVID19 vaccination (open to medical
exemptions), signed waiver (available in person) unless you currently have WFTDA
insurance, and full gear (helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, knee pads and mouth
guard)

– ALL skill levels welcome, no prior skating experience required
– Open gender
– No attendance requirement
– All skaters are welcome any practice night (must attend a practice to
participate in scrimmage nights)
– We have full contact and minimal/no contact options for all skaters

We encourage athleticism and personal growth in a supportive and positive
environment. As a nonprofit based in Lane County, Oregon, we strive to
strengthen our community with our inclusive activities and events that are
locally supported and Member-driven. There are plenty of opportunities to get
