CAIRE/AirSep Billing Fraud Alert July 5, 2022 Dear Valued Customer: We are contacting you to alert you of recent fraudulent billing attempts from perpetrators mimicking our CAIRE and AirSep domains. In some of these cases, customers sent payment to a fraudulent bank account. Please increase your vigilance for potential hackers posing as CAIRE. In these particular instances, customers were requested to send payment to a different bank account than what you already have on file for CAIRE. In each of these cases, the customer’s email system was compromised, not CAIRE’s. CAIRE/AirSep will never change remittance instructions via an email. Please do not send any payments to a location other than the bank listed on the invoice you receive directly from CAIRE Inc. or AirSep Corporation. If you receive such a request, immediately contact your local Customer Service team.
