CONGRATS PHANTOMX ON WINNING WINTER OF CHAMPIONS 2024!

Finals weekend is here! Almost 1000 games played in 489 matches have culminated
in four remaining players: two returning champions, one runner up, and a
newcomer to the competitive scene. April 5 will see a rematch between
zeroskatr12 and PhantomX - the Summer of Legends 2023 finals match up. Check
out Winter of Champions 2024 for the latest results!

The matches will all be streamed on the Unmatched Tournament Twitch Channel

BURGHY BATTLES TO SEASON 19 VICTORY

Ladder Season 19 featured some of the least "meta" fighters in Unmatched, aiming
to create some unconventional match ups, and giving everyone a break from the
meta. Burghy sealed his victory with masterful Bruce Lee and Invisible Man play,
going 12-2 overall.

ISMAEL IS THE SOLE LEGEND IN LADDER SESAON 18

Congrats to Ismael on his first ladder win! Season 18 was a "tournament prep"
ladder featuring the fighters most expected to play a big role in the Summer of
Legends '23 meta. Ismael emerged as the sole Legend and winner!

PHANTOMX TAKES THE PRESEASON TITLE

Cosmic Zap hosted a preseason single elimination tournament to prepare players
for the new Banquest draft format. After five rounds PhantomX emerged
victorious, defeating ChocolateRain72 in the finals.

BJORN WINS LADDER SEASON 17

Season 17 was one of the largest and most played ladders in site history. Bjorn
faced off against mamart30 for the title in the closing hours of the
competition. He used the Brains & Brawn fighters to the best of their ability.

Can anyone stop littleexpressionlessanimal? Season 16 came down to the final day
where animal battle PhantomX for the title, but was able to go 2-1 in the final
games to retain his crown. Season 16 was the biggest since launch!

It came down to the final round of play, but Chad and crew held on to first
place finishing above KROLEN Attack! and The Hounds of Mighty Zeus who were
making runs for first during the final run.

littleexpressionlessanimal battled mamart30 in the final days of the competition
to finish as the top Legend. He played Ghost Rider an impressive 22 times,

ZGREDZIO IS THE UMLEAGUE SEASON 1 CHAMPION!

The inaugural season of the Ladder wrapped up on March 31. We saw 131 players
log 834 games. Thanks to everyone who participated and a special shout out to
the 10 participants who acheived Legend status, including zgredzio the first
champion with a +6 Legend record.
