WELCOME TO SUFFOLK COASTAL TORPEDOES WATER POLO CLUB

Founded in 2007 and formerly part of Deben Swimming Club, then forming our own
independant club, Suffolk Coastal Torpedoes is one of the most progressive water
polo clubs in the East Region. We started with a small number of youngsters
trying mini-polo and have grown into a club where several of our players have
gone on to compete in regional and national teams. Compared to other clubs we
have a large number of girls who play water polo at various levels.


We train at Deben Pool, Woodbridge and Crown Pools, Ipswich and always welcome
new junior players of any age, both boys and girls.

We also run a non competative Adult section, for anyone that wants to play for
fitness and fun.

So if you would like to have a go at this fast, exciting and fun team sport then
please contact us.


WATER POLO SUMMER BREAK

As the summer sun has finally decided to shine, and will hopefully be around for
a little while longer,  a reminder that the club is on our summer break and
there will be no sessions until September.

Return Dates
Deben pool session restart on 10th September.
Crown Pools session will start back on Friday 13th September.

A reminder that our monthly fees are still due in July and August as we work out
your membership fees  based on 12th monthly payments to make accounting easier
for us and you.

We would like to wish you a safe and relaxing summer and look forward to seeing
you in September

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – SUFFOLK COASTAL TORPEDOES WATER POLO CLUB WED 3RD JULY
2024 – 7:30PM CONSERVATORY ROOM, DOUGLAS BADER, MATLESHAM HEALTH

Suffolk Coastal Torpedoes Water Polo Club will hold it’s Annual General Meeting
Wed 3rd July 2024 7:30 pm at Douglas Bader Conservatory Room, The Square, 
Martlesham Heath, IP5 3S

We would welcome and encourage all club members (players and parents) to attend
as your views are important to how the club is operated.  We need at least 7
members entitled to vote to attend to make the meeting valid.

Please note only members aged 16+ will be able to vote on election of committee,
resolutions.

We aim to complete the meeting within 45mins as the SCT AGM

Chairman, Accounts, and Coaches report will be presented verbally.

We currently have a vacancy for Club Secretary  – Linda and I cover most of
activities between us at the moment but would welcome handing over some of the
admin so we can concentrate on our formal roles. if you are interested please
let us know at the AGM.   We would welcome others to get involved
