STATE-OF-THE-ART LASER SUITE

While our surgeons perform many advanced procedures within the Hollingshead eye
surgery center, they perform LASIK, PRK, and other same-day laser vision
correction procedures within our state-of-the-art Laser Suite.

This specialized Laser Suite is equipped with the latest laser vision correction
technology (WaveLight laser system) and features an air-, temperature-, and
humidity-controlled environment with lighting optimal for performing laser
procedures. The Laser Suite's unique design combined with the credentials,
experience, and training of our surgeons and staff allow us to provide the best
possible patient outcomes and comfort.

Does my surgeon use the latest laser technology?


At Hollingshead Barrett Eye Center, we embrace the superiority of "all-laser,"
bladeless LASIK, in which our surgeons use the latest laser technology to
perform every step of the LASIK procedure. Some eye surgeons still use a
microkeratome (a bladed mechanical instrument) to perform the first step of the
procedure. However, clinical studies confirm that "all-laser" LASIK provides
better safety, precision, and results.

How experienced is my LASIK/PRK surgeon?


With one of the longest track records of any LASIK surgeon in southwest Idaho,
our team has helped tens of thousands achieve clearer vision with more freedom
from glasses.
