EXHIBITIONS



Pakistan Maritime Museum is established to promote awareness about maritime
heritage in the general public. Displays of artifacts in the open air as well as
inside the museum building are based on the modern concept of presentation and
interactive education. It updates the visitor’s knowledge about maritime history
and gives a detailed account of various aspects of national heritage. The museum
has a main building, which covers an area of 50,000 sq ft and 15 acres of land
around the building is aesthetically landscaped with the largest exhibits.
The museum building consists of three floors. It has 9 galleries and 11
displays. This museum has an auditorium with a capacity of 60 seats, a library,
and a History & Archive Center. The exhibits including vintage equipment,
paintings, dioramas, and murals depicting the maritime heritage and the
achievement of the Pakistan Navy. In different galleries, computer interactive
kiosks have been provided to visitors for instant access to detailed information
about exhibits.
