 * How to scope the coverage of your SIEM when including everything may be too
   costly
 * Where penetration (red team) testing can be used to test the effectiveness of
   your SIEM
 * The vendor promises, and features, that fail to deliver any benefits
 * The essentials you will need in your RFP if you are looking for a 24/7 fully
   managed service

Attendees will leave the session with practical advice, tailored to their
organisation, including sensible recommendations to implement, today, this week,
this month, and this year.



YOUR HOST ON THE DAY

Ian Mann is the Founder and CEO of ECSC Group plc. He has over two decades
experience in the cyber security sector, having previously worked as an adviser
for GCHQ, and established a Cisco Networking Academy for Dixons City Technology
College prior to founding ECSC in 2000.

Ian’s professional certifications have included CISSP, PCI QSA, and ISO Lead
Auditor, and he holds a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the
University of Nottingham, and an MBA from the Open University.

Ian will be joined on the day by selected experts from within ECSC with
extensive experience of helping people like you. In addition, the consultant(s)
that conduct your pre-scoping with you will be in attendance.
