The ARIS II Rover is a remotely-controlled
rover with advanced imaging technology to help
safely and accurately diagnose a multitude of
problems in a substation on a regular basis more
efficiently and at a lower cost.
CAPABILITIES
Managing and maintaining distribution and transmission substations across vast
and varied locations is challenging to react to changes within equipment
quickly. In the face of aging infrastructure, limited personnel resources, and
myriad ad-hoc incidents, protecting assets and limiting liability while reducing
time to react is paramount to cost savings. Equipment anomalies, weather events,
animals, or other intrusions must be diagnosed as quickly as possible to apply a
