OUR MISSION: TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR MEN SEEKING
RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER AND/OR MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. WE ARE
DEDICATED TO FOSTERING A COMMUNITY OF HEALING AND GROWTH THROUGH COMPASSIONATE
CARE AND EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES.






WHO WE ARE

Hartman House is a transitional-living residence for men providing a
recovery-oriented system of care.  We believe in the diversity of recovery
pathways and understand that each individual’s journey is unique. Our residents
engage in various programs within a peer and staff-supportive community,
fostering an environment that serves as the cornerstone for building a strong
foundation for long-term recovery and positive mental health.  We work closely
with our residents, their treatment teams and loved ones to develop and
implement comprehensive recovery plans. We are dedicated to meeting each client
where he is in his recovery journey, providing personalized support to help him
reach his potential.




LIFE AT HARTMAN HOUSE

Hartman House provides essential support for men in early recovery, cultivating
a healthy and honest community with structured guidelines that encourages a
recovery-focused lifestyle. Residents benefit from weekly meetings facilitated
by staff, memberships to the Zoo Health Club, and individualized care tailored
to their unique needs. Participation in a recovery program and adherence to
aftercare guidelines set by treatment teams are mandatory. Residents are closely
monitored, with all guidelines strictly enforced to ensure recovery is being
pursued. Additionally, we present clients with various recreational and
therapeutic opportunities to help them build a balanced and fulfilling life.


OUR COMMUNITY

As a level 2 FARR-certified recovery residence we balance support and structure
to simulate a real world living environment with the added assistance needed for
men in early recovery.  Our homes are located in the vibrant communities of
Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, Florida, providing our residents with an
enriching environment that promotes recovery.  Our commitment to being good
neighbors is at the core of our values, and we actively engage with the broader
community.  Residents participate in civic organizations, volunteer at events,
and assist within recovery clubhouses and treatment centers.  Our program is
located in the heart of one of the nation’s most robust recovery communities.

Finding The Hartman House has been such a huge blessing for me. I have lived
here for the better part of a year and the community of residents, staff, and
the owner Sean have helped me in a really difficult time in my life. The houses
are beautiful and clean and this is a great place to find recovery, it's more
than just a place to live. Highly recommended.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hartman for anyone looking for a supportive, safe,
personalized and communicative recovery community. I am so grateful to Sean and
all the staff at Hartman. My young adult son lived at Hartman for over a year
and a half. Initially, he was in the transitional care program which I highly
recommend, if needed. I felt less anxious knowing my son was getting
individualized care in the first few months while transitioning to a recovery
house. I learned to trust the process with the help of Sean who was ALWAYS
available to me. Sean is brutally honest, caring and most importantly available
to the guys and their families. Sean and his staff run an exceptional program
and I will always be grateful to him and his team.

I lived at Hartman House for 8 months and I had a fantastic experience. Living
there was without a doubt beneficial to my recovery. The staff are very friendly
and care about the clients, and they take sobriety seriously. I especially
enjoyed the community that came along with living at the Hartman House. I met so
many great guys who supported me and who I'm still friends with after moving
out. I absolutely recommend Hartman House to any man who is getting sober. It
helped me more than I ever expected it to!

Over the course of my time staying at Hartman House my life has completely
changed and I now have direction that makes my days feel fulfilling and
meaningful. A lot of this growth was facilitated through Sean and the staff
members holding me accountable and providing me with their help when I needed it
day in and day out. They offer special services other places don’t that included
assisting me in getting to work and school in addition to being great guys who
met me where I was at and gave me their support whenever they could. I stayed at
Hartman House for a little over a year and a half and in doing so was able to
adjust to a new way of life safely and be assisted in becoming a functional and
happy young adult after years of instability and lethargy in my later teenage
years. I have emerged with a new hope for my future and habits that if continued
will allow for me to keep growing and living a life I never before thought could
be worth living to this extent.

Highly highly recommend Hartman House. I can’t say enough how wonderful this
place is for men in early recovery. Sean and his staff really care about the
residents and went above and beyond to meet the needs of each resident. My
family member made several good friends there and was sad to leave. The minimum
is 6 months, but many stay beyond that because they want to. I’ve heard all the
Hartman houses are nice but I’ve only been inside Swinton House and it was very
clean and well maintained. The pool area and landscaping are especially nice
also. Thank you so much to Sean and staff for putting us at ease and
communicating so well with us and making the entire experience a very good one.

This is the best sober living I can ever imagine for a loved one on the journey
of recovery. Sean is extremely dedicated and invests so much into each client he
has. My son arrived at Hartman while still at the PHP level in a nearby program.
Sean and his staff are incredibly supportive while being firm and fair. He
really pushes the guys to be their best and sees the potential in each guy and
really hones in on that. We used his transitional living case management where
he met one on one with my son and held him accountable to schedules they
collaborated on. Sean and his staff are particularly adept with clients with
dual diagnosis. He and his staff provided excellent oversight of medication as
well regular communication with my son’s clinical and medical providers. The
techs go above and beyond and really pull the guys out their shell and provide
such a sense of community. Hartman has well organized team building house
meetings, AA meetings and dinner as a group plus, offers once a week multi house
therapist and mediation night and weekend outings that help everyone feel like
they belong. Especially important for these young guys like my son,
incorporating fun into a sober lifestyle is vital! I don’t know of another sober
home that includes such a positive environment, robust programming and such
skilled staff under one roof really setting clients up for success. It’s truly a
holistic approach to sober living.

I can't say enough about the staff of the Hartman house. All men with solid
recovery and all genuinely care. I had intended to stay for 6 months and ended
up a happy resident for 2 years as I transitioned from just wanting sobriety to
diving in to self-transformation.

The properties are all very nice, the staff is fantastic and the fellow
residents are as good as it gets (and appropriately managed if not).
