FUND WEEKEND MEALS
HOPE SACKS™ PROVIDE WEEKEND MEALS FOR STUDENTS IN CINCINNATI, OHIO WHO MIGHT
OTHERWISE GO HUNGRY.
THE PROBLEM
NEARLY 1 IN 5 CHILDREN IN OHIO DON’T KNOW WHERE THEIR NEXT MEAL WILL COME FROM.
At A Child’s Hope Int’l, we believe in a world where no child must wonder where
their next meal will come from. As food costs at the grocery store continue to
rise, more families are facing food insecurity and the stress of not having
enough food to eat.
CHILDREN RELY ON FREE OR REDUCED-PRICE MEALS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.
BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SCHOOL IS CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS?
ACCESS TO FOOD
HOPE SACKS TURN WEEKENDS INTO A TIME OF JOY RATHER THAN STRUGGLE.
Going without enough food on the weekends can affect a child’s mental, physical,
and emotional development. We work with community partners across Cincinnati to
provide meals, through Hope Sacks, directly to kids who need it most.
