INFORMATION

Answer

You can edit your recipient's name or choose a new recipient if your transfer
hasn't been delivered yet. Follow the instructions below to make changes on the
Remitly app or Remitly.com.


Note: Editing your recipient's details can delay your transfer. We'll send you a
notification if we aren't able to process your changes.

WHAT RECIPIENT INFORMATION CAN I CHANGE?

You can edit your recipient's name, address, or phone number. You can also
change the recipient to another person.

 


HOW DO I CHANGE RECIPIENT INFO USING THE REMITLY APP?

 1. Sign in to the Remitly app.
 2. Select the active transfer you'd like to edit.
 3. Choose Edit Transfer.
 4. Select Edit next to recipient details.
    * Note: If the "Edit" button isn't available, the transfer can't be edited.
 5. Select the Edit button under your recipient's information.
 6. Enter new details or select a different recipient.
 7. Select Continue.
 8. Review your changes and select Confirm.

 


HOW DO I CHANGE RECIPIENT INFO USING REMITLY.COM?

 1. Navigate to Remitly.com, and sign in to your profile.
 2. Select Transfer history.
 3. Select the transfer you'd like to edit.
 4. Choose Edit.
    * Note: If the "Edit" button isn't available, the transfer can’t be edited.
 5. Select Edit next to the recipient's name.
 6. Enter new details or select a different recipient.
 7. Update the available fields with the new information, then select Continue.
 8. Review the updated transfer information.
 9. Select Confirm to finalize the changes.
