What is an Adorama Protect powered by Extend Accidental Damage from Handling
(ADH) Protection Plan?

The Adorama Protect powered by Extend Protection Plan begins at the time you
purchase the product and lasts for the duration of the term it was purchased
for. The ADH plan covers damage caused by accidents such as drops, breaks, and
spills.

If the ADH protection plan lasts longer than the manufacturer’s warranty, the
ADH plan will also cover mechanical and electrical failure, just like a regular
extended warranty plan, once the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

How many times can I use the Adorama Protect powered by Extend ADH Protection
Plan?

The Extend ADH Protection Plan is a single replacement program that allows for a
1-time replacement of a like or comparable product should it become defective
under ADH conditions. For repairs, customers can repair this device until the
number of times and cost of the repair exceeds the retail price of the product.

How do I purchase an Adorama Protect powered by Extend ADH Protection Plan?

An ADH protection plan can be purchased online, in-store or by phone at time of
product purchase.

What are the benefits of an Adorama Protect powered by Extend ADH Protection
Plan?

Adorama Protect powered by Extend plans provide peace of mind and financial

or spill. Additionally, when the manufacturer’s warranty expires, the Extend ADH

What products are covered?

For online, available protection plans will be visible on the product detail
page and throughout the shopping experience. For store and phone orders, please
speak with the sales representative for available protection plans.

Are protection plans available for purchase Internationally?

Adorama Protect plans are available only in the United States including U.S.
territories (i.e. Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Island, and American Samoa). Adorama
Protect powered by Extend is not available for international purchases.

What do I need to utilize an Adorama Protect powered by Extend ADH Protection
Plan?

You will need your contract ID or email address handy in order to file a claim
through the Extend Customer Claims Portal or by contacting Extend’s Customer
Care Team at 877-248-7707. If you contact Adorama directly to file the claim,
you may be warmly transferred to Extend via phone at 877-248-7707.

Can I purchase an Adorama Protect plan for used and pre-owned purchases?

When you buy used or pre-owned gear from Adorama, you can purchase a one-year
Adorama Protect plan. Coverage kicks in after the retailer warranty ends. If
your gear experiences mechanical or electrical failure, Adorama Protect will
repair it or replace it with a similar item at no additional cost. Pre-existing
damage is excluded from coverage.

Can I purchase an Adorama Protect plan for Open Box products?

When you buy an open boxed item from Adorama, you can purchase a one-year
Adorama Protect plan. Coverage kicks in after the manufacturer or retailer
warranty ends. If your gear experiences mechanical or electrical failure,
Adorama Protect will repair it or replace it with a similar item at no
additional cost. Pre-existing damage is excluded from coverage.

Where is the contract ID?

This will be included in the email you would have received after purchasing a

If a product covered by Extend is replaced or repaired under the manufacturer’s
warranty, does the Adorama Protect powered by Extend plan cover the new product?

Yes, the replacement or repaired product will continue to be covered under
Adorama Protect powered by Extend protection plan.

What is the repair process to file a claim under an Adorama Protect by Extend
Protection Plan?

Extend makes it easy to file a claim either through the call center or the
online portal. Below are the steps you will go through to have your product
replaced:

 * Customer simply provides a contract ID, email address, or another piece of
   identifying information to Extend
 * Extend entitles (validates) contract coverage by ensuring:
 * The plan is active
 * The date is between the Effective & Expiration Dates
 * The customer will then answer a few Adjudication questions
 * High-level troubleshooting steps are offered
 * If a repair is required, Extend will generate a shipping label for the
   customer to ship the broken product for repair
 * Once product is received by the service depot, we will notify the customer
   that repairs are in progress
 * Once the repair is complete, the product will be shipped back to the customer
 * You can repair this device until the number of times and cost of the repair
   exceeds the retail price of the product.



If I experience any complications during the Claims process, what can I do?

The Customer can contact the Extend Customer Care Team in the Extend Claims
Portal (https://customers.extend.com/) or via phone at .

Can I cancel my Extend Protection Plan?

Yes, customers can cancel their coverage at any time.

If I cancel my Extend plan, what is the refund policy?

For an accidental damage and handling plan, the customer is entitled to a full
refund within 60 days of purchase as long as the contract is not fulfilled.
After 60 days, the customer is entitled to a pro-rata refund on the unused
portion of the service contract.
