If you have difficulties viewing this message, click here This mail concerns the following company site: Allnex Belgium 1620 Drogenbos (This mail has been sent to you as you are referred to in our CRM as the Plant Manager or Safety Manager of the abovementioned company site. It has been sent to no one else. If you are not the right person to answer this mail, please forward it to your dangerous goods manager.) Dear Member, essenscia and the federal authorities have an engagement to work closely together in case of an accident involving the transport of dangerous products through Belintra (Belgian Incidents with Transport of hazardous substances). Authorities, fire brigades and Civil Protection Services can call 24/7 experts of the chemical industry, even if they are not involved in the incident. Through two national coordination centres, one at Inovyn for emergency calls in French and one at BASF Antwerp for emergency calls in Dutch, Belintra consists of a network of specialists from 40 companies who are able to share their knowledge and expertise on thousands of listed dangerous products. Three levels of support are defined: (1) Remote product information and general advice by telephone or fax. (2) Advice from an expert at the scene of an incident. (3) Assistance with personnel/equipment at the scene of an incident. A European database keeps track for which products which companies can provide expertise or material. The Belintra support is not only limited to accidents on the route but is also available for rail accidents. The system is integrated in the European ICE (Intervention in Chemical transport Emergencies). The Belintra contract was signed by the Minister of Home Affairs and essenscia in 2015. We are asking for your help to refresh the information database. Could you therefor please click here and fill in this personalised form by 10th January 2025 with contact data and level of support your company could bring. This way, you could indicate if your company is (still) interested to join the Belintra-programme as a Responsible Care company. This information will be added to the Belintra-database. The Belintra-database is only accessible to the national centers participating to the ICE programme in case of support needed during a dangerous goods transport incident requiring urgent intervention.
