OTHER PASSPORT SERVICES

   An identity card can be used for limited border crossings and as proof of

   Replace your Lost or Stolen Passport to protect your identity. Damaged
   Passports are invalid and must be replaced.

When applying for a US passport renewal, will my old passport be returned to me?
 * Yes. The old U.S. passport will be marked as invalid and returned unless the
   U.S. Department of State deems it to be damaged. Be sure to inform us if
   there are any valid visas in the passport before requesting a renewal.

How long must my passport be valid for international travel?
 * Many countries require that a passport remain valid for a minimum of six
   months after the conclusion of a trip. If your passport expires sooner, you

   travel visas require an entire blank visa page. A visa page must be free and
   clear of inks or stains from other pages in the passport for it to be
   considered blank.
